Classical and contemporary worlds come together this September, with the Sage Gateshead welcoming three North East rock acts to join the Royal Northern Sinfonia for their 60th birthday celebrations. On Friday 21st September, Maximo Park, Field Music and Du Blonde will perform their own music, specially arranged for the orchestra, to kickstart their weekend of birthday celebrations with a bang, proving just how versatile a modern chamber orchestra can be.
