Electoral roll & Mortgage

Hi all, basically I have had a decision in principle, we have seen a house put an offer in which is accepted, checked my credit score free using this service and it's "EXCELLENT" .. my worry is I've moved out my old rented apartment 3 month ago, moved in with parents to save.

Yesterday updated the electoral roll with my council however they now tell me that won't change on the database until December!! I'm going for my official mortgage on Thursday (7 days time) - I rang my council they've told me I'm still down on database at my previous address until December..

As I was worried I rang another mortgage advisor, she's told me it would help obviously if I was registered at my current address however as long as I'm on the actual roll itself all be it my previous address it should still be fine.

Surely I'm not the only person ever to have been between properties and have the council take that long to actually update the database?

So what I'm asking is the lady I've spoke to right in saying I should be fine? Or should I be telling my vendor that it's going to take until December now before I can buy?

Thanks

Shouldn't be an issue. As you've recently been registered elsewhere.

Probably not an issue, but may be lender and loan to value dependent.
