Is anyone NOT worried about their debts

I used to worry about lots of things and some of them actually happened (Mark Twain)

Hopeless Case can I just say that what you said resonated with me (it won't let me quote for some reason) . No one in my family has much money, and I've spent years saying 'don't worry about it' or 'I can lend you that', I've not done a very good job at then making sure they have ever actually paid me back, and it's all added to the debt. I've had easy access to credit from when I had a good job and no children, and every year the credit card companies put my limit up and up without ever rechecking my income or outgoings. It still felt easy to be generous to family and friends (I'm not talking about big money here, but buying shared gifts where in the end no one else contributed etc over years and years adds up).
I take full responsibility for my debts, I'm a grown up and made me own decisions, but I am starting to realise how it's happened and know I need to change. Im going through the DRO process now, and I actually don't feel worried this morning about my debts for the first time in a while. This forum and stepchange have been amazing.0
