Green mortgage - energy efficiency improvements

Hi all,
Anybody know whether these new mortgage products are available in the UK?
Energy efficiency mortgages action plan (EeMAP)
eemap (dot) energyefficientmortgages (dot) eu
I'm a first time buyer, seen a property, needs some work done on it and currently has a really bad energy rating. I hope to buy it, and refurb whilst living in it. To fund the refurb I'm hoping to get a mortgage product that includes additional money for refurb/ energy efficiency improvements.
This seems like a good product, but not sure if available yet. Any info would be appreciated! X

There are no Mortgages on the market that will allow you to borrow additional money to do works on the property... The last time that happened the world imploded.
You can buy the property and either save and do the works bit by bit or you could potentially look to take out a credit card or loan to do the works. You may then in the future be able to remortgage and consolidate that in to a new mortgage - but that is subject to credit and affordability checks down the line.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. If anyone would be able to help with something like this, then it would be these people.

Not sure if they do what you are asking for but their website states "We welcome unique and unusual projects and whatever your mortgage needs we believe in treating our borrowers individually and fairly".
