I have no idea if this exists, but I want an old fashioned home ledger book, somewhere I can record incoming/outgoings (i no longer get paid monthly and I am struggling to have money in the bank at the right times to cover direct debits),
I have memory issues so visual on paper is best than online, I've spent ages drawing up pretty excel spreadsheets but they just don't work for me
I haven't really a clue what I am looking for and wondered if anyone else uses pen and paper and can recommend a book or share your methods to help me get a grip on my finances
thank you so much in advance x

Cathedral used to sell some lovely, good quality accounts books but I can't remember where I bought the last one. The paper was such good quality it made you feel you wanted to stroke it!Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

Why go to the expense of a proper accounts book?
My mum uses an exercise book like the ones you use at school. I don't know where she buys them from but I bet they're cheaper than a ledger0 -
