From the brains behind the Saw franchise, comes dead Silence, a new spine-chilling thriller starrring Ryan Kwanten and Donnie Wahlberg.
A young couple, Jamie Ashen (Kwanten) and Lisa Ashen (Laura Regan) receive an old ventriloquist dummy under mysterious circumstances. When Jamie’s wife is brutally murdered, he returns to their hometown, Ravens Fair to unravel the terrifying legend of Mary Shaw (Judith Roberts); a creepy stage ventriloquist who was hunted down and killed in the 1940s.
Mary Shaw’s death gave rise to local legends, and Jamie soon suspects the new dummy in his life might be connected to Lisa’s death. While digging into the town’s bloody past to find out who killed his wife and why, Jamie dodges inquiries from Detective Jim Lipton (Wahlberg), a wise-cracking cop who suspects Jamie of Lisa’s death.
As Jamie uncovers the legend of Mary Shaw, Jamie unlocks the story of her curse and the truth behind the threat from a rhyme in his childhood: If you see her, you should never, ever scream.
Dead Silence is available to own on DVD from Monday, October 29.
