Hi
I just spoke to the nicest man at First Direct - I have been budgeting strictly this month but unfortunately will go over my account limit by around £65. I spoke to FD to see if they could help me to avoid fees - which I have been paying out around £25 a month on this year due to badly timed payment
He was completely non-judgemental as I gave him my credit debt info and he gave me a buffer to avoid fees this month with 0% interest. He gave me some advice on text alerts and speaking to creditors about payment dates. He was so sympathetic and helpful I could have cried!
If you are like me and struggle to see out the end of the month please speak to your bank and avoid those charges - they may seem small but I have £25 less to pay out next month
