Question on unsuscribing

Hi dear forum members,

apologies if this question has already been asked, but I couldn't find a thread about it.

Can we unsubscribe from newsletters we receive by emails after entering a competition and still be contacted if we win a prize?

It generally depends on the terms of the competition in question, so you'll need to check on an individual basis.

Some will say you have to remain a subscriber until they draw the winner, some say you can unsubscribe straightaway and still be eligible to win.

In addition to the above, unsubscribing since GDPR may remove the only way you have consented for them to contact you.

I guess I will have to remain subscribed and delete my emails manually, worst problems to have I guess.
