Halifax mortgage application.....anyone else going through it at the mo?

Hi all .....
We have started our application with Halifax and the valuation has been booked,
My husband has logged onto experian and can see that they have checked his credit rating a few days ago however they don't seem to have checked mine? Has this happened to anyone else? Are they just Checking his as he is the main income?
Also, How long after valuation do you find out if you have been successful or not?
Oh and another question, does anyone know much about this a,b,c scoring system that Halifax uses? They have only asked for pay slips so far.
We had a crap experience last year so just anxious now to get through this! Xxx

Hey,

Went through a mortgage application with Halifax in May and exchanged. I believe once they take the money for the valuation and start that you have been successful? They only asked me for one payslip which I was surprised at.

Thank you for your reply Laura, the valuation is booked for Tuesday.
Can you remember how long it took after the valuation for you to get the offer?
We were declined with nationwide last year so on pins this time around but we are in a better position this time around so fingers crossed! Xxx
