Hi,
I sent my complaint with quickquid to the financial ombudsman who have said QQ should refund me the interest and fees plus 8% interest on the last loan I had with them.
So they have offered the following:
Interest refund - £265.50
8% Interest - £52.71
Less tax on 8% - (£10.54)
Refund due - £307.67
The interest element from the loan is correct, however they also added £24 late payment fees, should these also be refunded?
And then the 8% interest is the bit I am confused about. I took the loan on 01/05/2013 so does anyone know if this interest is correct?
Thanks

Hi nikkim2175,
If you are unsure, the best place to check would be back with the financial ombudsman. You would need to check about the late payment fees, and if that was part of what they intended you to be refunded. If so, and QuikQuid have not included that, then let the ombudsman know.
Again, if you were told that you should be refunded 8% interest on the last loan taken out, the relevant issue there would be the balance of that loan (as opposed to the date it was taken out). If you no longer have your records, then ask them ombudsman to confirm the figures are correct based on their investigation. Good luck,
Laura
