Credit note not refund

Hi,
I purchased a rugby shirt and bottle opener from an online rugby store.After waiting 18 days I complained I hadn’t received the item and wanted to cancel the order.The shop obliged,but didn’t refund to my paypal account and have instead given me a credit to buy further items from them. I don’t want to buy anything from them, can they legally not refund my money for an item I never receive? They have said its in their terms and conditions and it’s tough luck essentially!!!129300;

Tell them to look at the consumer contract regulations and you look forward to receiving the refund within 14 days. Although if the rugby shirt is personalised (ie with a name on it) you will not be entitled to a refund.0
