As above, has anyone used it for anxiety or overthinking?

Yes, useful to relax after a long day or when things are though but it isn't the ultimate solution to anxiety problems.ally.0

I was recommended it by a nice diabetes nurse, but I couldn't sort out which bits I wanted and in the end got confused and gave up (I am not an idiot and am quite technically savvy, but there seemed to be far too many options) Would like to know if anyone has successfully used it as I could do with a bit of peaceful time in my day. Thanks for raising the question.0

Have used the 10 day free trial and found it to help, was going to ask if anyone subscribed for a full year as was offered it at a 40% discounted rate (£44 for the whole year, new session every day)
I've also found CBT to be a help with anxiety too0 -

As my above reply, used the 10 day free trial and enjoyed it, and am considering subscribing for the whole year for £44. I think i chose the 'overthinking' or 'anxiety' option on the app to start with, and done the 5 minute session each day0 -
Ive just stopped anxiety and depression medication and this app has been brilliant at keeping e calm and anxious free
totally recommended coudnt live without it now. I do it just before bed and sleep like a baby. Its changed my total wellbeing. Also try Calm app.0 -
If you take a membership of Anxiety UK, you get free Headspace membership for the duration of your membership year.
As it's only £30 for Anxiety UK memberhip, it's a cheap way to access Headspace

If you found it helpful, I'd say go for it. It certainly helps. My point was that my anxiety is caused by certain things and I personally think I should focus on them (change them, remove them from my life etc).
I didn't know this and I think it is a really good way of getting it.boots_babe wrote:If you take a membership of Anxiety UK, you get free Headspace membership for the duration of your membership year.

Here's my two penneths.
I have stopped and started the app a few times. Each time I was working through the 'Basic' packs. The reason for using it have always been that I can't sleep or if I do sleep, I don't sleep for long.
When I used it previously, I did find my sleep patterns were better and either I got bored or found it repetitive so I stopped.
So after this latest restart, the sleep is better in that I am sleeping and mainly sleeping for 6 hours.
In terms of each meditation session, I am not sure if I am doing it right, other thoughts crowd out what I am concentrating on etc. Also I feel only a little more relaxed after each session as compared to before the session.
However the effects must be subtle and have taken many weeks to accumulate. So at the start my sleep didn't change much but as the weeks go on my sleep patterns are getting better. Still have the occasional night where I can't sleep but these are reducing in frequency.
So for me, it took quite a few weeks for the effects to kick in. I am now adding other aspects of my life to the meditation and hopefully in a few weeks they will be better also.0 -
It is a app which will teach you the life-changing skills of meditation and mindfulness in just a few minutes a day.0

Quick update one and all, its been somewhat of a life saver... I love it, it helps me to relax before bed, and to forget about all the things that make me anxious. I look forward to using it each evening. For anyone experiencing anxiety, its definately worth a try0
