AIP with Coventry then offer?

Hi,
We had a hard search AIP done through our broker and all came back fine. I was surprised at the detail of the AIP with Coventry as it read very much like a credit agreement (the soft one I did with Halifax a few months prior was just one sheet of paper)
It’s now with the underwriters but I’m told now they have done the hard credit check they won’t need to do another one?
Has anyone ever had an AIP after a full credit check and been declined?
They have all my documents now and there will be no surprises. I guess I’m just anxious awaiting a decision!!
Thanks

It will just be a case of checking you fit criteria and your bank statements are fine, nothing undisclosed and basically...underwriting.
Its not a done deal but assuming you have told the truth and the broker has done their job, you should be fine.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
