Granola

Hiya

Does anyone please know of any cereal/flapjack tape recipes I can use up a bag of granola in please?

My eldest has bought a bag of chocolate and cherry granola and doesn’t like it so I was trying to find a recipe to use it up in.

Thank you :-)

I use it as a crumble type topping on fruit either mix into crumble mix or just cook the fruit and top with granola and serve with custard

    Turn the into biscuits/cookies.

    1 mug granola
    1 mug flour
1/2 mug sugar (maybe less if the granola is sweet!)
    150g butter/marg
    1 heaped tablespoon syrup
    3 tablespoon water

Melt butter on hob, add syrup and water, mix together.

Remove from hob and throw everything else in, mix until mixed together.

Make biscuit shaped things and on put grease proof paper (i normally use a tablespoon to scoop out and a teaspoon to get it off the spoon into the tray).

    180 / 200 / gas 6
    For 15 - 20 mins

Best book i had was a vegi student nosh book for a few quid off ebay as it gives some great recipes from everyday items.

    Agree with the cookie idea.

Just make sure you offer the eldest one a cup of tea with one of your cookies. :D

I would follow this recipe and where the ingredients calls for nuts and fruit I would add the weight together and then use you granola for that part of the recipe.

    Hi
No advice for you but could you tell me what brand granola she bought please.

New-ish to granola, tried muesli the other day and hated the pappy texture.
    Chocolate & cherry sounds nice.

    Thanks, Lisa
It sounds nice, some reviews say it is bitter but the reviewers who like dark chocolate (as I do) say it is very nice and not sweet.
I just need to find out where my nearest a*da is.
