Hi,
I have found myself struggling to pay my debts so i decided to seek help:-
1. Firstly I tried to get a secured consolidation loan which I am glad i turned down the crazy offer I was given which would not have helped me at all.
2. I tried going to my own bank but they declined as well even though the figures showed how putting all debt under one loan with them would help me pay off all debt in 8 years and free me up £100 a month.
3. Finally, via Stepchange I have spoken to businessdebtline today who went through everything with me and advised to write to my creditors and ask them to free the interest and charges and tell them what I can pay a month.
My main query here today, does anyone have any success with this? My biggest debt is with Barclaycard who i owe 11'000 to and all i am paying at the moment is interest.
Thanks

Why not post up your Statement of Affairs(SOA)? Then you can get real help and support. The SOA is easy to - Just fill it in, click on the format for MSE button at the bottom and post it up here.

To seek assistance on Barclaycard debt, you can approach Barclaycard directly for :
1. Minimum payment reduction through collections team (affects your credit file once on a payment plan)
2. Interest reduction through Superserver team (doesnt affect credit file) but your account should have an offer. This team will check for an offer if your account is not closed or suspended.
