Am starting new in unfurnished flat. What household goods/possessions are most important to you than sentimental items.
I have limited space.
Also what have you bought but not really needed.

Bed.... VERY important to get good nights sleep. Table & chair. Set of good quality knives and pots/pans the rest can wait.0

I would say a bed, cooker and washing machine.0

Somewhere comfy to sit, for yourself and a few friends.
A good quality mattress to sleep on.
A cooker, washer/dryer, and a fridge (or fridge/freezer if you know you want to keep frozen food). The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -
Get round furniture charity shops, I've just kitted out a 2 bed flat, excluding white goods, for less than £750.
Pots/pans/crockery etc can be picked up at charity shops/Ikea.
Utilise gumtree for free/cheap local items.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
A good bed, comfy sofa and a cooker.
The rest of the stuff in my now not so new to me flat came secondhand and slowly via eBay.0
