Hi today its 6 years since I went to court and declared bankruptcy
I've had my ups and downs but on the whole it's been ok.
Unfortunately I still have a mortgage in my sole name, my ex lives there and pays the mortgage, as we have a declaration of trust giving him the beneficial interest my credit file would be affected again if he stops paying the mortgage, so for the rest of my life I will still have this concern.
On the plus side I am retired, live 70 miles away from my ex living back in my home town with family and friends.
Financially I am secure and now have the precious gift of my first Grandchild thanks to I.V.F.
Sorry I have gone on a bit but I am feeling a little emotional!!
Thank you to all who have helped me get to this point unfortunately many do not post anymore, but our own debt doctor has been a great help to me.
Good luck everyone just starting I will help whenever I can.
Thank you.
