Debt company pursuing me for debt that isn't mine

Hi there,
I did post some time ago about this ongoing problem I've got with Robinson way. I recieved a letter last year saying I owe over £2000 for a barclaycard debt! Ironically I did have a barclaycard card debt with them but it was a totally different card number and I'd been paying them monthly for years and only owe a small amount now. This is a completely different debt.
I wrote to them and told them it's not my debt and I also asked for proof, e.g. Statement abd signed agreement. I realise now I should've just said it's not my debt end of!
Anyway I basically revived a letter today saying they have not been able to find any of this information but will pursue me anyway! They sent me an 'application! Which just looks like my old address details and that's it.
I'm really concerned as I don't want to pay for something that isn't mine and I feel like I'm being bullied.
Any help on what my next move should be would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
If it were me, I would do both of the following:
You need to write again to Robinson Way, telling them that the debt is not yours and that you have no connection to the debt.
Simultaneously, write to the financial ombudsman making a complaint that you are being harassed for a debt that is not yours, that Robinson Way did not send you proof of the debt as per your request.
Edit: Have a look at post #3 in the thread below. There is also a template letter in that post that you can use when writing to Robinson Way.

I love my job0
