We are currently remortgaging in a nutshell transferring equity from my ex husband and mortgaging myself and my partner with some extra equity for home improvements. My ex has appointment to get his if verified so by wed my solicitor will have all the paperwork all signed and done. The guy doing our home improvements is free from a week on Monday to start. Ianykne know how long we could take now as if we don’t let him start monday it’s gobna be another 6 weeks is it too risky to book him in. The work will take approx 2 weeks so in total we have 3 weeks to get the money? Any advice appreciated
