Caution - converting Clubcard vouchers for Chef & Brewer

We used to have to wait for vouchers in the post (snailmail!) and they came in £10 units. Then they started emailing vouchers to print or show on your phone. Vouchers came in £20 units - no problem.
Just converted £60 in points to Chef & Brewer vouchers and when the email came back... surprise, surprise ... it is one voucher for £60 rather than 3 x £20 vouchers! So for two of us, we either eat £60 worth in one sitting or we lose the balance!!!
Plan is to contact Clubcard by phone tomorrow & cancel the vouchers then do the conversion again in smaller units. Now it is reduced from 4 times value to 3 times value, I will convert (say) £5 to get a £15 voucher.
Takeaway: DO NOT convert all your points in one go unless you want to eat a mountain at one sitting or waste vouchers. If you want to use vouchers over several visits, convert a small number each time as required.
Hope people find this helpful!

When they cancel them they do not give vouchers back, it goes back on your clubcard points for next quarter. The new way of issuing vouchers as and when though may help but I'm not sure when that starts.0

That's correct, badmemory, you cannot convert online until the next quarter but if you phone them (0800 number) they will convert them for you manually. They did some for me yesterday after refunding the £60 voucher0
