It's really nice when people acknowledge people's postings, but it would help other forum users if acknowledgement is made via the 'thanks' button rather than bumping the post up (as this makes people think it's a new competition!).
Happy comping everyone! :beer:0 -

The reason this is such a friendly site and people are happy to post is just BECAUSE people feel free to post comps, or, comment and don't get comments because they have. Try using the competition forum tools daily/weekly email, and that will bring up the new comps.
Also if you comment, it doesn't thow you out of sync.
You'll be doing the comps a day behind, so have a look and see if any are finishing on that day first.0 -
Sorry, I really thought the 'Thanks' button was to save bumping threads. Also, the guidelines by Martin state:
8. No Bumping Of Posts. Please do not just bump posts for the sake of it. This disrupts the boards.
Sometimes newbies aren't aware of the thanks button or the guidelines.
I was trying to be helpful. Sorry if it appeared unfriendly. :-)0 -
people arent bumping though are they, they are making a comment to the OP?
anyways i cant get this one to load, anyone else?
