  • You are doing so well :) fab going! I personally find online shopping with @sda is cheapest for me, I am an impulse buyer so if I am in the shop then I can't help but buy bargains, whereas if I am online I only shop for whats on my list, we are a family of 4 (plus hamster) and spend £65 a week xx

  • Current total stands at £31,492.64!!! Its gone up by £140.08. I took a bit of a step backwards last week as something unexpected cropped up so it had to go on the credit card. I've reviewed where I've gone wrong and I'd stretched our budget too thin with the snowballing, and DH's hours have been lower than average over last few weeks so we slipped a little.

Nevermind, I'm getting straight back up and dusting us off to get back on the horse.

So I've decided until the new year I'm going to concentrate in making our regular repayments (still slightly more than the minimum repayments) but not get too hung up on putting every penny in the snowballing. In the new year, I know our financial position will be better and I can then start throwing everything to the snowball, and maybe even catch up to make up for the next 10 weeks, who knows.

Still having a nightmare with the food budget. Starting to think we're just greedy so and so's who eat too much lol

I managed to get 2x Now TV entertainment passes for free - 1 with Game and the other as I complained about the box sets having issues a couple of weeks ago - so I saved £13.98 spread over the next 2 bills.

I noticed yesterday that my sofa I had new from DFS less than 3 years ago has started cracking. I need to dig out the paperwork over the weekend and get in touch with them before it gets worse. Gutted I love my sofas.
