I've always wondered if there are shoe exchanges for one-legged people forced to buy two shoes at a time. You'd think there'd be scope for people who've lost their left leg to list out all the useless brand-new left shoes they have, and do swapsies with people who've lost their right leg.

Maybe that's how the gloves thing works.
