How long have people on here found they have had to wait to be declared bankrupt once they have submitted their application form?

As soon as you submit your application, it will be reviewed by an adjudicator, if the adjudicator makes you bankrupt, you then receive a copy of the bankruptcy order, and will have a telephone interview with the Official receiver.


All depends how long the review takes, most are within a few days.

Once you have submitted your bankruptcy application the adjudicator will decide whether to grant the bankruptcy within 28 days. In reality most people find they get a decision within a couple of days.
