    Do not worry about what may look bad, and what may not, anything the OR wants to know, they will ask, just be honest.


    Just one thing to bear in mind is the house, although its your husbands, you may be deemed to have a beneficial interest in it, you really need to get some advice from one of the free debt charities about this particular aspect, before you press send.

  • No the house was his parents family home he grew up in they gave him it in March and gift deposited it and I had to sign solicitors to say no beneficial interest and not on deeds or spent any money on the house either - when I spoke to someone they said it should be fine so fingers crossed!!

    You might claim those expenses against tax but that only reduces the net spend by your current rate of income tax, it does not get rid of them completely.
    loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
