Am I debt free?

Hello, how can I check whether I’m discharged following a DRO, please?
I got my dates wrong and it appears that my 12 months may be over already... (which doesn’t seem long enough)
I’ve checked the IIR and it says date of DRO 3/8/17 - am I automatically debt free now? From memory, I thought it was November, which is why I just wanna be sure!
Thanks

you are discharged from a DRO 12 months after the date of it. you should receive correspondence in this regard to say that you are. if you have checked your name on https://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/eiir/IIRRegisterNameInput.asp?option=NAME&court=ALL . lick on your name and it will give full details - contact the OR for your case and ask them to advise...
note, your defaulted accounts will remain on your credit report for up to 6 years from date of original default dates, but so long as they were included in your DRO, no further action will be taken
hope this helps0 -
Awesome. I’ll give them a call tomorrow, but the date on the website clearly says 3/8/17
I’m sure everyone is anxious at this time, just the prospect of finally being able to look forward:)0 -
There's no correspondence at the end of a DRO but the entry changes on the register to say it's completed, then disappears 3 months later. You could take a print-out from the register now, to send to anyone who requests proof later.
If you need a confirming note from the DRO team they can generate one but this is not done routinely.0 -
It says:
Currently Subject To Debt Relief Order : Moratorium Period ended on 03 August 2018 See FootNote
Is that good?0 -

It will stay on your credit file for another 5 years though.
