I am only posting this to help raise awareness, making people more aware is a good thing. My husband went for his over 50's check and thankfully after finding a polyp, it turned out to be all clear but many are not so lucky.
So if it gets us talking about being checked then it may help someone.

Currently a 3 week wait.

Please don't be put off because you feel embarrassed to go & talk to your GP about any concerns you may have. Our Dear son died at 37 because he didn't go for help early enough. He endured surgery & chemotherapy which gave him a further 2 years but it then spread & we had to watch him suffer for 6 months while he gradually deteriorated.

Remember this can strike at any age - everyone needs to check their poo - it doesn't take long to have a quick look in the pan before you flush it!
