So i know i'm going to get shot down in flames for even asking and I am answering my own question. However...
We have been served 14 days notice by our builders on a new build house to complete. we officially get the keys on the 17th. now we need to finance the flooring but have such limited time scales as we need to move out and didn't want to do it without the floors been down.
Do you think it;s too risky to sign up for the finance on day 7 of the 14 day exchange? Or would you not risk it?

Like you say, you have answered your own question.
Go ahead and do it, but you are legally obliged to inform you mortgage lender and that will lead to re-assessment of your mortgage application.0 -
