Agree with Craig1981, owning it and telling everyone was my best way of dealing with it, TBH think some are jealous that you are now debt free and no longer have to worry about the debt you have.
There is no shame in it, you have been a lot stronger and realistic than most, dealing with the situation rather than assuming it will all be alright in the end.
If you do open up about BR you will find so many others are either in the same boat, are considering it but are frightened to take the leap of faith, or are going through the process, with debt causing a lot of mental health issues where BR could be their saviour, you could actually save a life.every time I manage to get one more breath into this body, I will sing a song of thanks to you my brothers, my sisters, my friends, may your sleep be peaceful, and angels sing sweetly in your ears.0
