Morning all,

Just random question! I've just had my payday changed from the 29th to 26th of every month the payment was coming out on the 1st of the month.

now i just called them about this and they wouldn't allow me to adjust the payment date from the 1st September to 26th August as i have already made a payment that month! which mean i'm going to get paid twice before the next loan repayment :)

Anyone else has this before? i know it going to take another month to clear the debt but i guess i'm getting a free month on the loan to pay off other debts then

You're not getting a free month, so don't go and spend the money as you will end up being short all for the sake of 3 days.

I think you will end up with a bigger first new payment to cover the extra 20ish days of interest.

Failing that yes the loan will take longer to pay off.

I'm not spending the money, just the next loan payment is meant to be 1st of September and not it 26th instead meaning have two paydays before that money is taken out. i'm going to keep the money in my account just in case anyway

i asked if i would have any adjustment to the loan payment and said i would still be only paying the normal amount. women said as long as they take the payment in that month is doesn't really matter when (hence the reason they wouldn't allow me to move it forward to 26th Aug instead of the 27 sept)
