Marks and Spencer hire Homer Simpson

Noted loads of unsold product in the M&S coated chicken area today. The product is:

https://www.marksandspencerfoodhall.co.uk/product/2-breadcrumbed-chicken-breast-fillets--084f59dc-d435-4b1d-84bf-2c452c41e053

The twerp tasked to condense the product title down to something that would fit a shelf-edge label chose "Made Without Chicken" :rotfl:

You may be right but - Homer Simpson or OCR equipment - I suspect the faux pas was caused by the four key words being printed three in black and one, inexplicably, in white.

    Label legibility - R.I.P.

Many many years ago, I pointed out to our local Tesco that due to poorly placed signage, their strapline had become "Very Little Helps" :D

I think the craziest supermarket "Mission Statement" was Safeway's

"Everything you want from a store - and a little bit more"

Everything you want is covered by the first phrase, so the little bit more must be something you DON'T want.

e.g. ground glass in the marmalade. :rotfl:

    Oh wow! That's a corker.

At least your chicken label said the word chicken, have you seen the one where bananas had been labelled "Long Yellow Things"? (I tried to post the picture but it wouldn't work)
