Why reduce if she dosent have to? Some months throw up expensive unexpected bills, better to allow some breathing room. 60 is not that massive for car maintenance, I had 80 for maintenance and 200 for petrol when I went bankrupt. Pet is fine, the OR isn't going to make her give up the family pet for for the sake of 40 quid a month.
She doesn't have to. I am highlighting the expenses. Since she is going bankrupt it makes no difference.

Do you not see the hypocrisy in your statement?
80 pound a month for car maintenance is not expensive when I went bankrupt .

Every year 960 on car maintenance is not excessive? You could buy a car every year with an 12 month mot, scrap it every year for cheaper.

Maintenance should average 200 a year and some years may spike due to more expensive components failing.

80 a month maintenance is perfectly fine when your driving 25k miles a year pal . A new set of tyres every year, two services and an MOT and that's nearly all of it gone.

Don't know why I'm arguing, have you ever actualy gone bankrupt? I have, I put 80 for maintenance, it was accepted. End of story.
