U.K. Cash/Credit Cards In The Republic

The OP asked about paying bills by debit or credit card as an alternative to using cash. Monzo or Revolut ideal for this. I always use them when out of UK and rarely use or need cash. Monzo's move to being bank accounts removed any advantage they had over Starling, and worse, they have withdrawal limits on foreign currency.
That's why I stopped my Monzo card and opened a Starling account.
Of course, Starling may also do something like that, down the line, but until they do...0
