They can't do nothing I'm like the wind atm. But the car is needed due to work and picking up kids and also to sleep in. I need to go Br so I can find a suitable place for the kids to stay with me. Ive completed a new soa with step change and it's what they call a balanced budget she said my housing was more important.
The woman at cab wasn't very good. She suggested I carry on living how I am for 6 years and the will be statue or somthing.0 -
Hi Daniel,
I agree with a lot of what is being said. Your priority should be housing, having somewhere warm to sleep, a roof over your head, somewhere safe, somewhere you can call 'home',. The debts can all wait. Where will your creditors write to you if you are no fixed abode.
Just a reminder of my earlier post regarding Rent Deposit Guarantee Schemes. Here is what they say on the Shelter website:Rent deposit, bond and guarantee schemes
If you don't have money for a tenancy deposit, check if there's a rent deposit, rent guarantee or bond scheme that can help.
How a rent deposit scheme works
Rent deposit schemes help people who can't afford a tenancy deposit to rent from a private landlord. Rent deposit schemes are usually run by a local council or housing association or sometimes by a charity.
Rent deposit schemes offer loans to be used as deposits. Usually, the scheme lends you the money in advance and you pay it back over a period of time from your wages or benefits.

I would suggest it's the other way round, you need to get somewhere to live (for you) AND then this will be somewhere the kids can visit and then you could go BR.Debt doctor
I need to go Br so I can find a suitable place for the kids to stay with me.
This would then allow rent to feature in any IPA calculation (you would never get an IPA with this cost in your SOA) and it is always easier to find a rental property before BR than after.
I would agree that you car should be exempt.
Whichever way you do things, I wish you the very best.
