Query bauer media/publishing

Options
Hello - being a bit thick here but i wanted to clarify. I was on the i won thread where someone had a bauer media win of £1000 co op voucher but couldnt enter any bauer media comps for 6 months , if the win was over £500. My question is ? Do they tell you that when you win ? Its just ive won £500 from thats life bauer publishing and there was nothing to say about not entering any bauer publishing cops for 6 months. My question is can i still enter? Sorry to be a pain and long winded. I didnt want to clog up the i won post . Thanks if anyone can help x

I won a guitar that was over £500 in value and assumed that would rule me out for a while even though nothing was said. I also won a small hamper just afterwards that was below the value so that seemed okay. I've just carried on entering just in case and because I'm not really sure so I'd be interested in any answers on this one!
Many thanks to everyone who posts competitions and works so hard to provide all the answers!

I have just looked at That's Life terms and conditions, and it clearly states that a person can only win a prize of £500 or over, once every six months. I found this in there terms and conditions section, which must be ticked to agree to before entering the competition debskeay

If you wish to check for yourself, I clicked on a magazine issue number and read the t & c's at the bottom of the page.

I won £3000 from That's Life in April. I was never officially told I couldn't enter but looked up the terms and conditions and have stopped entering all Bauer comps until October.

I would hate to win and then be told I couldn't claim.

Same here not allowed to enter any Bauer competitions after winning 500+. I stuck to it as well and the 6 months ended on March 3rd this year :)

Anyone ever been told this applies to the entire household? This was in my winning e-mail:

"We'd also like to remind you that if the prize you've won is valued at £500 or more, then neither you nor another individual living at the same residential address as you are entitled to win another prize for the next 6 months. This is so we can ensure everybody has a fair chance of winning."
