Am I paying too much into my pension?

the house deposit. I'll most likely be buying with my partner, but If I keep saving into the LISA, which I'll do anyway, I'll end up having a deposit of £35k, compared to her £10-15k.
I mean I'm quite happy to do this, but there is always that thing at the back of your mind, what if and the issues that could arise should we end up splitting after buying the house.
You both sign a deed agreeing the terms on which you own the house and pay the mortgage. For example if she puts up a smaller part of the deposit perhaps she could provide more than half of the repayments.Free the dunston one next time too.0 -
ViolaLass - I'm currently building my emergency fund as per previous replies. I will have this completed way before I buy a house which won't be for another 4 years.
I still (technically) live with my parents so pay little rent.
KidMugsy - Thanks for that. Whilst it won't be for a while, I'm going to look into this a bit more so I'm prepared. Thanks.
Kinger101/atush - I was happy with the transfer value and thoroughly believe that by leaving it invested in a sipp for around 40 years, it will provide a much better return than having £300 + inflation increases.
thanksYou'll find me sat in the corner with a pack of dry roasted and a Guinness.0 -

I hope you pay them something? I charge mine 200 quid a month. I probably break even with that taking everything into acct (incl internet, sky etc)0 -
Atush - Yeah I give my mum £100 per month as thats what she asked for.
I buy her wine and flowers on a regular basis. You'll find me sat in the corner with a pack of dry roasted and a Guinness.0 -
I dont get the wine and flowers (unless it is mothers day or xmas) but i'd rather the 100 bucks. that buys even more wine and flowers0
