Do I need to do anything with Egg now? paid with egg card, went to currys via the link on Egg cashback site.
Is the cashback automatic???

I think it works that you get your normal 5% on your next month statement and then you get the balance of 12.5% in September.Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think it works like that.Great post.

This is in the small print on the currys offer.
The cash back for this offer is 17.5% of which 5% will be paid to you as cash back in the usual way, which is detailed on your following month's statement. Once Currys have confirmed your transaction to us, the remaining 12.5% will be paid back as cash back to your account by 31 July 2005. Your cash back total is paid to you once a year in September. Nice price. I got one of the original ones of these and it works great. BTW, there are 3 models now, tomtom 300, 500, and 700 (I think?). Not sure if all have bluetooth? Might wanna check that out!

All 3 have bluetooth but only the 500 & 700 support handsfree (phone). The Go 300 just uses is bluetooth for traffic/weather information etc - which you have to pay for.

I have a go 300 & it suits me just fine

I want a 500 for hands free calling, shame they have not been released yet as the currys offer would have been spot on !
