Student loan advice

Evening all.
I went BR in may and have a question about student loans. Through my job there is the possibility of going to uni as they are introducing an apprentice position so the pay would be half of what i get now so my only way of doing it would be with a student loan to top up my income.
Ive looked for the info online about BR affecting your chance of getting a student loan but i cant find the answer. Im hoping its possible as it would be a fab career move for me.
Thanks

Bankruptcy doesn!!!8217;t affect your eligibility for a student loan, but are you saying that you!!!8217;re going to be an apprentice and take out a student loan for your living costs? Apprentices aren!!!8217;t eligible for student finance so that wouldn!!!8217;t be possible.0

Yes thats what i was thinking but didnt know you couldnt have a student loan if you were an apprentice. Will give it a miss this time then and hopefully work will bring back secondments.
Thanks again

Hi
Why don't you look into doing bank/agency work in your spare to top up your income?
Secondments within the NHS (I assume your employer is NHS
) are becoming few and far between.
If becoming an ODP is something you really want to do, talk to your boss about it as there may be other ways to go about it.
Also check if there are any grants from the university or organisations/charities associated with your field of practice.
Good luck!0
