had a bad time with Argos cream sofas. I paid £599 for a cream leather sofa and it started to get mysterious black marks which wouldn't come out. they sent an 'expert' who told me it was newspaper print and not a fault. So I have a very rough looking sofa now. It's not even comfortable the cushions are so soft they go flat!

I was in the same boat - was keen on the Megan range but didn't know exactly what it would be like when it arrived. So I went to Homebase. They sell the same Megan range and many stores have Furniture showrooms. You can even search for Homebase stores in your area with furniture showrooms on their website. Although before travelling it is probably worth ringing to make sure they have Megan on display.
I actually bought my sofa through Homebase and was able to use my Spend & Save card to get money back.

Hi has anyone now recieved this or decided to get it?
Me and df both love it which is a miracal! but the size baffles me when it says delivered as fully assembled..does that mean actually in a corner shape? thought they always came as 2 bits..we have a new build but big back door so will prob be ok will have to measure.
Also the softness..is it really sinkable as df will hate it, ours is quite firm at the mo and lovely! our other choice is the marrakesh from Harveys which we have sat on and loved but lobger to order etc and £100 more..
    Hmm decisions!
  • Hi ,

I got mine and really like it. It is on display and can be bought through homebase also. It comes in 2 parts so no problem getting it through the doors. Also it is very soft so if you don't like soft then it won't work!
