Cooling Off Period with HP vehicle?
I am due to sign some finance documents tomorrow about a 2017 car I have reserved. They have said that the chips will be refurbished, but it looks like I need to sign the documents before actually viewing the final condition of the car.
This is a walk-in dealership purchase; do I have the typical 14-day cooling off period in case I am not happy with the condition of the vehicle and reject it?

14 day cooling off for the finance yes. How will you pay for your car if you cancel that?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

You should sign once your happy with the condition of the car - if they are unwilling to then go and buy a brand new car without chips - you will have a better chance of rejecting it if its not 100% perfect.0

You sign the finance documents before you collect the car to ensure that the funds are approved & on the way to the dealership when you collect the car.
You could ask the dealer to repair the chips, then you inspect them & sign the finance paperwork before collecting the car a few days later.Dwy galon, un dyhead,

Personally I would not be signing finance documents on a car I haven't seen or had chance to test drive."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0
