Towels and bed linen

Options
In about half an hour I’ve got some towels and bed linen coming out of the washing machine..... am I going straight to hell if I stick them in the tumble drier? What with it being 31c and all.

  • Yep!!! But on the plus side, it will probably be cooler there at the moment :p

Plus of not using the drier is I save oh? 6 pence in electric.

If I do use it it the towels come out all fluffy and the sheets smell nice. I don!!!8217;t have to see the stuff draped over clothes horses not to mention wondering where all that condensation is going.

 Saint Martin would spin like a top.....

Pop them on the line and give them a freshen up in the tumble if you are delicate and don't like rough towels - ours were like shredded wheat when I got them in :rotfl:

You do realise Mr S that is OS heresy . If you have good weather and outside drying hang them out . It freshens them up and i sleep much better with bedding that's been dried in the sunshine .

Definitely hang them all out on the line but bring the towels in early and finish them off in the tumble drier :)

My bedding dries ultra quickly in this weather. I don't use the tumble drier except for towels - dried naturally they are rough and stiff. Tumble drying makes them soft and fluffy.

What's wrong with towels like shredded wheat? That's how they should be!

I like a bit of rough (towels :D) as well. Seem to dry you better, don't you think?
