Does anyone know where to get one of these from that has 2 scart sockets. I see Argos have a phillips one for £75 but I wondered if it was possible to get one cheaper.

Comet have a Thomson one for £59.99. I have it & it is great, works if you have Sky or Cable.

If you go to currys they do them for £24-99 but when you go to a till they are £19-99.They don't have two scart sockets but they do have a scart through port so you can effectively connect them in line with your piece of equipment. If this isn't what you are looking for,for that price you can buy two sets as they do have different channels. We have got a set and have had no problems at all.
Hope this helps

If you have a wireless network you might get some problems as I believe they work on the same frequency.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Don't worry too much about Wi-fi networking. I have the Currys £19.99 Video sender, so has next door. and a wi-fi setup, and loads of dect phones ( which operate on 2.4Ghz too). Have had no problems with any device, nor had to change channels, which you can do to overcome interference if it happens.

Does this mean that if we have a video sender I can sit in the living room which has the Sky box watching terrestrial TV and my husband can be in the study and get Sky sports on his TV?
We also have digital cordless phones and a wireless laptop so I realise there might be problems.0 -
Lolly unfortunately no you can't. It just sends what the Sky box or TV is tuned to, or what is playing on the video or dvd. Takes whatever is on a scart socket behind the tv, and transmits that to a receiver plugged into another tv of your choice. Some allow remotes to send signals in the opposite direction, so you can remotely chance channels etc.
But you can both lie in bed and watch Sky sports, and if hubby lets you near the remote , you will be able to change channels when he's gone to sleep ;D

You obviously know my husband! He always falls asleep with the remote clutched tightly in his hand.
I thought there might be a way I could plug the sender into the Sky box which would be tuned to Sky Sports and he would get the picture on his TV and I could watch normal off-air TV. Dont want the expense of a 2nd Sky box as we dont watch it enough.0 -
Lolly,my hubby thinks this MAY work, not guaranteed but worth a try.Plug the digi sender transmitter into the output scart socket of your sky box and make sure that your terrestrial aerial wire is plugged directly into the back of your television, not into your video or sky box and looped through, this way you are effectively transmitting the output of the sky box to the remote TV and can watch the normal terrestrial channels on your TV through the normal aerial, your TV should have an aerial and scart input so you can leave both the aerial and scart connected meaning you have access to all channels on your main TV but will only have sky channels on the remote TV. You may need to retune the main TV so you have Sky on the AV channel and the normal terrestrial channels on 1, 2, 3 etc..
Hope it works!!
