If anybody is thinking of using this bunch of so-called property specialist solicitors, don't bother.
It took them 6 months to conclude a house purchase which involved no chain & no moving-in date (we were sitting tenants trying to purchase). The vendors' solicitor had completed everything within 8 weeks.
We finally completed, after lots of phone calls and emails, on the very day the mortgage offer expired.
The company uses trainees, apprentices, paralegals, and probably work-experience students. A qualified solicitor only looks at the file once in a while.
A purchase which should have been easy, was stressful and drawn out.
