How much would a dentist charge for tooth whitening? (bare in mind depending on usage, you may need to repeat the whitening after 6-12 months)

    Ask your dentist.

I recently got trays done at the dentist - £350. I haven't used it for enough nights yet to tell you how effective it is.

Why do you expose your teeth to nasty chemicals for whole nights and not do the photocatalytic method that within an hour using appropriate light you get the same results?

That's another example of how much you can trust your dentists in UK.

If you know so much about this subject, why are you asking if charcoal works, and wasting your money on whitening toothpastes?
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
