Well done for continuing to post daily. I find it really helps knowing I'll have to 'own up' on here to any spends.

Thanks! Yeh I find it quite interesting also and great to get replies.

I just feel like my stupidity is behind me. My life has changed a lot as have my ideals of what is important (fancy things/impressing people).

Listened to some Gary V earlier and he said about how many immigrants in USA work hard, save and don't buy anything flashy for 10 years. Just the bit about 10 years of working hard and saving hit me so hard. I can be 40 with plenty of money and assets and a clear route to retirement if I do such a thing. That to me is more valuable than looking wealthy/spending money in my 30's.

A very nice cheap day today spending just £6.17 (each day the bold/italic is the spending for the day I post)

One thing to mention the 'Food' column actually should say groceries as it included food, drink, dog food/treats and sometimes shower gel type of things.

So a pretty horrific day of spending money on booze and food basically. I spent almost £100 and could have had as much fun on £25. It happened, it sucks, we continue!

I am the biggest idiot on the planet. This weekend I could have done things such as

    1. Paid off £100+ more of my sebt.
    2. Saved £100+
    3. Cleaned my house.
    4. Had fun.

Instead I sat around eating and drinking and spending money on it all which I don't have.

I feel so ill and sad from it. Just addicted to being an idiot I guess. NO MORE. Time to get back on track.

Can I ask if you meal plan? It seems your crunch points are weekends. Do you sit around eating through boredom? Not sure where you live but can you get in the habit of getting up and going for a walk which will help you feel better and stop you spending/eating. How about when you do a meal plan you build in say one takeaway a month or every two weeks to start cutting down on that for your health and wallet?

You have a good salary so some financial discipline would see that debt gone fast. What interest rates are you paying on the store cards and overdraft/credit cards/loans?
