Clydesdale remortgage

Hi All,
Has anyone on here had any experience remortgaging with Clydesdale?? I’m in the process now but it’s taking forever, application submitted end of may, valuation completed about two weeks ago, they have requested a settlement figure for a loan that I have but nothing else yet. It seems like they are taking their time.

You have just described Clydesdale through and through....I am a Mortgage Broker.

did you use a broker? an experienced one will usually let you know which lender to go for and it's not all about the rates. I went for a slightly higher rate because the offer will be quicker and less issues than with the cheaper one which could take a long time to deal with"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Yes went through a broker, my application was to clear debt, so I can understand the underwriter taking a bit longer to make sure everything is ok, but this is longer than I expected and they still might decline it, if so I’ve wasted almost two months waiting.0
