I don't have to pay for my car repairs until week now, so thats one less spend for today. My hair cost me £45.50, but other than that as it was budgetted, a no spend day.:heartpuls

£3.35 in co-op. I've realised that is my downfall, i really shouldn't stop off there on the way home, it's an evil place which makes me spend money on almost nothing at all lol!!!!0

Hello! This is the first time I have been on since "the troubles" and I feel all at sea! So much catching up to do.
First off though - my spends!
£4.38 on groceries
£25 on a manicure & some waxing (ouch!)
All budgeted for. :ABank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

Today I am not going to spend anything! I have enough food in the house, I can walk to town if I need to. The goal is to keep it that way until saturday when I have to drive out of town for some work. But then I'll be making money

Only budgetted spends for me today.... £7 for dog food, bleach and surface cleaner

Hi PaP, and everyone:hello: :hello: :hello:
I really am sorry that I haven't been about - I'm still on training for the new job - I'm not getting home till late, and I'm starting at 6 0'clock as well
I AM being careful with the spends, though - I'm taking packed lunch and there IS free tea (but ONLY when the canteen is open) so I am spending 38p on two coffees a day.
I can, also, honestly report that I have, so far, resisted the temptation of the 'Smart Price' Milk Chocolate - but I'm only human and tomorrow is another day. :shhh:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

:hello: Cheers honeybun!
I wish Primark was nearer.
We tried Peacocks, Bon Marche, QS, Pilot, Mark One, New Look and Dottie P's but only Next had a functional "Hold your trousers up" kind of belt, all the others were drapey, decorative, low slung on your hips types. (our town is poo for shopping!)
I heartily resent spending that £15 though.
I don't mind buying DD a new top. She hasn't had anything new "just for fun" for ages cos every month the family allowance goes on a new coat / shoes / school trousers / school shirts / bras / pants / socks / or something else boring that she needs rather than wants.
And she hardly ever asks for anything. bless her. :embarasse

I spent my £2.28 plus my £1.00, then went on to spend £5.11 at Morrisons - about half of which was groceries and half was stuff I didn't need.Miss_Marple wrote: »I'm having a rubbish week spending wise.
I forgot a friend's birthday, so had to get a card (99p) and as it was Sainsbury's, a whole book of 6 stamps (£2.04) in addition to my paper (40p) plus 2 packs of snack-a-jacks mini bites - (45p as they are BOGOF at Sainsbury's) But I did pick up my free birthday chocolates (thankyou Sainsbury's) which would have been £2.99
I've still got to spend £1.00 at the library and £2.28 at my slimming club.
My spending week just gets worse
