AVCs with the Pru started after March last year don't incur a penalty - or so I was assured. Will dig out the paperwork and check but am pretty certain it was a recent change.I have borrowed from my future self

Thanks for that. To be honest, the early cash out penalty was so low (1% per year) that it must have cost more than that to administer.0 -
Looking at the Pru website it seems it can offer salary sacrifice if the organisation agrees to it. Assume that means you would get your 12% VAT back on this as well. Not sure how widespread the use of this is though for AVCs,
