Gearbest laptop not arrived - help

Hi,


Bought a laptop in June for £700 from Gearbest and it still hasn't arrived. They say it was shipped early July but nothing has arrived for over ten business days. It states 3-4 business days so I thinks its either not been sent or been stolen.



Gearbest are telling me to wait till August. I did not purchase shopping insurance as I did not notice the option


I paid with a Mastercard. What are my options?

1. Should I do a chargeback?
2. A section 75 notice to my credit card and get the money back?
3. Talk to gearbest and see if they will send one again in August.

Thanks in advance. Its a virgin mastercard if that helps.

The smaller orders I've made with Gearbest recently have been taking significantly longer. The last took almost 8 weeks and before that the previous was 7 weeks.


Did you choose an expedited shipping option or just the standard one?

Internal battery in the laptop will restrict the postal options from China unless you paid to have it couriered over? If so prepare yourself for import charges.

Do you have a tracking number?

I don't think so. It just says "Spain Express" in shipping.


As of tommorow is will be four weeks so there is hope...


I'm just wondering if I should try to get my money back.

It was very cheap for what it was so I'm not bothered about customs charges - I saved over £500.



Yes the tracking number just says as below. Any idea what it means?
