1st Wedding Anniversary Ideas

Hi all,

Our first wedding anniversary is just under 2 weeks away and I am still stuck as to what gift to get my husband. I would like to stick to the traditional gift of paper, but I am happy to be 'smart' with it, so for example a paper voucher for something. As it is an anniversary I am thinking if it's a voucher it should be for something for us to share together and make memories as husband and wife.... but not idea what yet!

I was wondering what other people have got their partner on their first anniversary or any ideas you have known friends get and thought was good?

I wrote my wife a poem.

She bought me a book.

I won (and saved money).

We stick to the traditional ideas. It's more fun and avoids just falling back on the usual presents. Good luck with ivory though...

My friend booked a weekend away at a posh spa hotel and then printed the reservation and gave that as a gift for paper.

I also had a friend who did some fancy word art thing with the lyrics of their first dance and then framed it, that was nice.

I am not sure what I will do!
